How to 3D Model/Print

To model a 3D print, you first have to get modeling software. Tinkercad and Fusion360 are good modeling softwares.

First, you start by thinking of something you want to make. For example, a small fidget spinner. In Tinkercad, there are many shapes to put on the plate. After you choose a shape, you would then drag a hollowed-out cylinder into the middle of your shape, so that there is a hole in it. Then, you would drag one more cylinder and make it a tiny bit taller than your shape. After that, you would grab two more cylinders and make it slightly flat.

After the modeling step, you would then export the file and upload it into a slicer. After uploading, hit the slice button and it will start scanning out the layers for you. The slicing software will then let you print your model onto your printer. When it finishes printing, just assemble the pieces and you’ll be done!
